Saratoga Gap Beginner Backpacking

Hey guys!! Gear up for an epic adventure through the stunning Saratoga Gap! If you are looking for a quick trip and are itching to gaze at some waterfalls, sculpted sandstone formations, and spectacular views over the Santa Cruz Mountains, join Clifftop Cooper, Arboreal Alessia, and Elevation Ellie for a BEGINNER backpacking trip! We will be hitting the road at a brisk 9am on Saturday, driving less than an hour to Castle Rock State Park. After gazing upon the towering castle rock before us, we will hike 2.5 miles through lush forests, passing goat ridge for some panoramic sights before reaching our campsite. On Sunday, we will rise from our peaceful slumber, hike another 2 miles and frolic underneath a cascading waterfall before returning to campus by 1:30pm. Tickets will be $39!
