Big Sur Beginner Backpacking
The elephant seals and whales are calling your name! The end of the quarter is near, and what better way to spend your weekend before the busyness of finals week than a beginner backpacking trip in South Big Sur with Lustrous Lucy, Courageous Cole, and Limitless Liana? We will set forth on our journey on Saturday at 9 am, driving 4 hours to Big Sur. Don’t fret, though the drive is long, along the way, we will pay a visit to the mating elephant seals on the coast before heading to the trailhead to begin our hike. We will conquer the first half of the 4.7-mile Cruickshank Trail, then enjoy a scrumptious dinner. The next day, we will chef up another drool-worthy meal before heading back to the car to commence our drive home. We are aiming to be back by 2 pm on Sunday. This is a BEGINNER trip, so no prior backpacking experience is necessary, just bring your amazing selves and be prepared to have a splendid time in nature! Tickets will be $40. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to: Lucy (lsabin@scu.edu), Liana (ltsou@scu.edu), or Cole (cadam@scu.edu)
